Youtube celebrity Zoella unknowingly shot a photo of a "random man and his dog on the beach", which just so happened to be Pink Floyd's David Gilmour.
The vlogger uploaded the photo in question to Instagram back in March 2014, along with additional pictures posted on her blog, but was unaware of the famous subject of her snaps. It has now been confirmed by Gilmour's wife, Polly Samson, that it is indeed the musician in the shots.
"I took this photo of a random man & his dog & other photos on the beach at sunset today!" the Instagram photo's caption read.
The star explained more on her blog: "The sun was setting in Brighton, and the sky looked amazing... I grabbed my camera for spontaneous beach pics... I also took these snaps of a man and his dog. I don’t know this man, or his dog, but I feel like I captured a few moments between them that were too precious not to share. If you know this man, let him know these pictures exist as they may make him smile!"

Despite the photo being years old, it resurfaced this week after fans spotted what appeared to be Gilmour in the beach photos.
"To be fair #randomman had no idea who the #randomyoungthings were either," Samson later wrote on Twitter. "@Zoella LOVELY pic btw."
Zoella has not yet commented on these developments.

David Gilmour topped the UK Albums Chart last September with his solo record 'Rattle That Lock', beating Lana Del Rey to the Number One spot.
'Rattle That Lock' was Gilmour's first solo album since 2006’s ‘On An Island’ and only his second in the 21 years since 1984’s 'About Face'.
Gilmour said at the time: "It's thrilling to get a Number One album, we all want to hit the top spot, however long we've been at it, I'm delighted."
